James McLeod is a writer and communications professional. His work at CCI focuses on elevating the profile of Canadian technology companies, and activating CCI's public policy work, to reach the widest possible audience. Before joining the Council of Canadian Innovators in 2020, James was an award-winning journalist covering politics, business and innovation at the Financial Post, the St. John's Telegram and other news outlets. He is the author of "Turmoil, As Usual" and in his free time he is an avid watercolour painter.
