Karen Moores is the Senior Advisor, Atlantic Canada, at the Council of Canadian Innovators — a national business association that represents over 150 of Canada’s fastest growing technology-intensive companies. Since the fall of 2023, Karen has been working with our founding members, growing our presence in the region and advancing national and regional policy priorities that matter in Atlantic Canadian communities.

An alumni of CCI's Innovation Governance Program (iGP), Karen has worked at the intersection of technology, innovation and public affairs since 2015. She has worked on federal and provincial public affairs initiatives, causes and campaigns for national charities, not for profits and start-ups in the health, biotech, disability, pharmaceutical and cannabis sectors. A proud member of the Tech+Biz Sick Kids Campaign Cabinet (previously Tech4SickKids), she is proud to raise funds for artificial intelligence and precision medicine investments at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, benefiting kids and youth Canada wide.
