CCI Welcomes PharmAla As Our Newest Member

The Council of Canadian Innovators is pleased to announce PharmAla Biotech and President & CEO Nick Kadysh as the newest member of our national network of scale-up companies.

PharmAla Biotech is a groundbreaker in the biotechnology field, focusing on the research, development, and manufacturing of GMP, clinical-grade MDMA, and other MDXX compounds. PharmAla Biotech’s mission is to support the global research community, provide clinical-grade treatment options, and pioneer innovative new treatments.

“Our goal is to make sure researchers have reliable access to the compounds and materials that are needed to advance important clinical treatments,” said Nick Kadysh, President and CEO of PharmAla Biotech. “By driving innovation in this area, we hope to help unlock new treatment options for conditions like PTSD and anxiety, improving the health outcomes of patients who need these treatments the most.”

PharmAla Biotech’s compounds are already being used in clinical trials globally over several jurisdictions. PharmAla produces its LaNeo™ MDMA capsules in Canada, under GMP conditions. They are distributed in Canada under the Health Canada Special Access Program, to qualified patients, and in Australia under the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)’s Authorized Prescriber Scheme.
