CCI Welcomes MIMOSA Diagnostics to Our National Network of Innovators

The Council of Canadian Innovators is pleased to welcome MIMOSA Diagnostics to our national network of high-growth technology companies.

MIMOSA Diagnostics, led by Co-Founder and CEO Dr. Karen Cross, is making it easier for doctors and nurses to evaluate a patient’s health using simple, portable imaging technology. By creating tools that help healthcare workers identify problems earlier, monitor recovery, and enhance treatment decisions, MIMOSA is improving care for patients while saving time for medical professionals.

One of its key innovations is the MIMOSA Pro, a pocket-sized device that captures 4 tissue health insights at the point-of-care using various wavelengths of light. Doctors and nurses can use it in hospitals, clinics, or even in remote settings to get a clearer picture of a patient’s condition without needing expensive, bulky machines. The images captured are seamlessly uploaded to a secure web portal expediting image review by other specialists to help patients get the right care at the right time.
