CCI Welcomes Able Innovations As Our Newest Member
September 18, 2024
The Council of Canadian Innovators is happy to welcome Able Innovations and CEO Jayiesh Singh as the newest member of our national network of scale-ups.
Able Innovations is changing the way healthcare facilities move patients by using robotics to make patient transfers safer and easier. In the face of acute health human resources (HHR) crisis, their technology helps facilities do-more-with-less while reducing risk of injury and improving the overall patient experience.
“Our goal is to make caregiving sustainable,” said Jayiesh Singh, CEO of Able Innovations. “By automating the most labour intensive task in healthcare, physically transferring patients, we’re able to increase efficiency for facilities while also reducing risks of injury for both patient and caregiver, so healthcare workers can focus more on providing compassionate care.”
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Able Innovations is leading the way in healthcare robotics and automation with its ALTA Platform®, which allows patients to be moved with less effort and risk of injury.
“Able Innovations is building robotic solutions that can have a huge positive impact on health practitioners and patients worldwide,” said CCI President Benjamin Bergen. “Our goal at CCI is to help support innovators like Jayiesh and the Able team as they try to bring their solutions to the forefront of the medical industry.”
Depuis 2015, le Conseil des innovateurs canadiens s'est engagé à soutenir les entreprises technologiques à forte croissance ayant leur siège au Canada et à plaider en faveur de politiques qui libèrent le potentiel d'innovation de la nation.
