CCI celebrates 10th cohort of iGP graduates
November 19, 2024
Today in the print edition of The Globe and Mail, CCI recognized the learner’s part of the tenth cohort of the Innovation Governance Program (iGP), filled with leaders who are shaping the future of resilient and globally competitive Canadian firms.
Since 2021, iGP has equipped over 1,000 graduates with the governance expertise and strategic insights necessary to propel Canada’s fastest-growing companies on the global stage. Over the past six weeks, participants have engaged in dynamic discussions on what it takes to serve as effective board members for high-growth companies in Canada’s thriving innovation economy.
The iGP curriculum, informed by leaders from Canada’s fastest-growing companies, is delivered by subject matter experts in corporate governance, IP and data governance, cybersecurity, finance and compliance, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), talent development, and media. Graduates of iGP gain access to CCI’s Board Member Advisory Program (BMAP), which actively promotes them as qualified candidates for board roles in Canada’s high-growth technology sector.
Upon completing the six-week program, iGP participants will be equipped to identify, assess, and navigate modern governance challenges facing today’s innovation-driven companies. Graduates are also added to the BMAP roster, a specialized referral program that helps match scale-up companies with qualified directors to fill board vacancies.
iGP sessions are offered three times annually: Winter (February-March), Spring (May-June), and Fall (October-November). Ready to join this transformative journey? Applications for the Winter 2025 iGP session (February–March) are now open and will close on January 6.
