CCI welcomes Novarc Technologies as newest member

Vancouver-based robotics leader Novarc Technologies is the newest member of the Council of Canadian Innovators.

Based in Vancouver, Novarc specializes in building welding robots that pioneered a first-of-its-kind application for pipe welding that improves efficiency and quality. 

“At Novarc, we are proud to be building a business here in Canada that serves customers domestically and around the world,” said Co-Founder and CEO Soroush Karimzadeh. “I’m excited to be working with my fellow CEOs within CCI to advance policies that drives growth in the Canadian innovation economy.”

Soroush is the CEO and Co-Founder of Novarc Technologies. With more than 15 years of experience in the commercialization and product development of industrial automation, Soroush has focued on collaborative robotics, machine vision, machine learning and welding. He holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of British Columbia and is a professional engineer as well as a CFA charterholder. 

Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been Canada’s business council exclusively devoted to high-growth Canadian-headquartered technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies to unleash our nation’s innovation potential.
