Ottawa-based marketing software leader Knak is the newest member of the Council of Canadian Innovators.
Knak provides enterprise marketers with a platform for creating high performing, on-brand email and landing pages, without code, and within minutes vs the weeks it currently takes them.
“We are a proud Canadian company providing marketing tools to the world’s largest enterprises, building our business here in Ottawa and creating good Canadian jobs,” said Co-Founder and CEO Pierce Ujjainwalla. “Working in collaboration with CCI’s national membership, I’m excited to be advocating for policies that empower Canadian companies like Knak to grow and compete globally.
Ujjainwalla has built a career in marketing, working with global firms like IBM, SAP, NVIDIA and Marketo. He co-founded Knak in 2015 as a platform built by marketers, for marketers. He is also founder of Revenue Pulse, a marketing operations consultancy.
Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been Canada’s business council exclusively devoted to high-growth Canadian-headquartered technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies to unleash our nation’s innovation potential.
“Scale-up companies like Knak are the key to productivity growth and economic relevance in the global innovation economy. CCI exists to bring together leaders like Pierce and allow innovators to work together, arm-in-arm, to update Canada’s public policy toolkit for the 21st century and make our economy more innovative,” CCI President Benjamin Bergen said.
