CCI Welcomes Embark to Our National Network of Scale-Ups
April 8, 2024
The Council of Canadian Innovators is pleased to welcome Embark as the newest member of our national network of innovators.
Embark is Canada’s education planning and savings company. With over $6.6 billion in assets under management, more than half a million Canadians rely on Embark’s services to save for their child’s post-secondary education.
“At Embark, we’re focused on using technology to simplify savings and guide Canadians as they invest in RESPs and their family’s future,” said Embark President and CEO, Andrew Lo. “I’m excited to be working with CEOs at the Council of Canadian Innovators to advocate for policies that can help propel Canadian digital services further.”
Embark is focused on democratizing education savings through technology. They aim to make education more accessible by giving Canadians industry-leading digital tools and strategies to forecast, plan and save anytime, anywhere.
“Canadian innovation leaders like Embark are enabling Canadians to build their academic futures. Andrew and his team are enhancing how students and families save for the future,” said Benjamin Bergen, President of the Council of Canadian Innovators. “At CCI our mission is to help grow and support companies like Embark to help build a stronger future for all Canadians.”
Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been Canada’s business council exclusively devoted to high-growth Canadian-headquartered technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies to unleash our nation’s innovation potential.
