The Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) is growing to meet the needs of Canada’s thriving innovation sector. As the collective voice for over 150 of the nation’s leading technology scale-ups, CCI continues to evolve its services to support its members as they tackle global challenges and drive economic growth.

To grow our supports for our member companies and internal operations, CCI is proud to announce the promotion of Maggie Goldstein to Manager of Operations. Maggie joined CCI in 2019 as Executive Assistant and has been a cornerstone of CCI’s operations ever since. As Manager of Operations, Maggie will lead efforts to refine CCI’s internal processes, ensuring the organization remains ready to meet the needs of its members.

“CCI’s membership continues to expand as Canada’s scale-ups look for support to navigate complex economic and policy challenges,” said Benjamin Bergen, President of CCI. “Maggie’s promotion ensures that as our organization grows, we remain equipped to meet the evolving needs of our members. Her expertise will be crutial in helping us maintain the high level of service and advocacy our members rely on.”

“I’m excited to step into this new role and continue contributing to CCI’s mission of supporting Canada’s innovators,” said Maggie Goldstein, Manager of Operations. “Our members are tackling some of the toughest challenges in health tech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and beyond. It’s an exciting time to help CCI grow and ensure our team is organized so we’re providing the resources and advocacy they need to succeed.”

As CCI grows, keeping our operations organized and efficient is key to meeting the needs of our expanding membership. Maggie’s continued leadership will help ensure that CCI’s programs and services run smoothly, so we can focus on supporting the companies driving Canada’s future.

ABOUT THE COUNCIL

Founded in 2015 by Canada’s most successful technology CEOs, CCI aims to amplify their voices in the public policy development process around innovation, countering the dominance of foreign multinationals and other entities not focused on Canadian economic growth. CCI’s CEOs lead Canadian-based innovation firms in sectors such as Healthtech, Cleantech, Fintech, Cyber, and ICT, driving commercialization of intellectual property, generating jobs and wealth, making investments, and engaging in philanthropy. We advocate on their behalf for government strategies that increase their access to skilled talent, strategic capital, and new customers, as well as expanded freedom to operate for their global pursuits of scale.
