CCI Celebrates 11th Cohort of iGP Graduates

March 6, 2025

Today in the print edition of The Globe and Mail, CCI recognized the learners who completed the 11th cohort of the Innovation Governance Program (iGP)—a group of leaders shaping the future of resilient and globally competitive Canadian firms.

Since 2021, iGP has equipped over 1,000 graduates with the governance expertise and strategic insights necessary to propel Canada’s fastest-growing companies on the global stage. Over the past six weeks, participants engaged in dynamic discussions on what it takes to serve as effective board members for high-growth companies in Canada’s innovation economy.

The iGP curriculum, developed in collaboration with leaders from Canada’s fastest-growing firms, is delivered by subject matter experts in corporate governance, IP and data governance, cybersecurity, finance and compliance, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), talent development, and media. Graduates of iGP gain access to CCI’s Board Member Advisory Program (BMAP), which actively promotes them as qualified candidates for board roles in Canada’s high-growth technology sector.

With the completion of this cohort, another group of leaders has joined a growing network of professionals equipped to navigate modern governance challenges in innovation-driven companies. Graduates are also added to the BMAP roster, a specialized referral program that helps match scale-up companies with qualified directors to fill board vacancies.

iGP sessions are offered three times annually: Winter (February–March), Spring (May–June), and Fall (October–November). Applications for the Spring 2025 iGP session (May–June) are now open and will close on April 4.
