Paul Vallée is the founder and CEO of Tehama, the leading SaaS platform for secure IT service delivery. Paul launched Tehama in 2018 under its parent company Pythian, a cloud and data services business he co-founded in 1997. Under Paul’s leadership, Pythian has grown to a 400-person company operating in 35 countries. In recognition of Pythian’s rapid growth and success, Paul was named in 2011 to Ottawa’s “Forty under 40” by the Ottawa Business Journal. In 2014, he received the Trudeau Medal from his alma mater, the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. In 2019, Pythian won the Google Cloud Platform Partner of the Year Award for Data Analytics. Paul is a sought-after speaker who is recognized for his support of progressive causes, including gender equity in technology. For his efforts in countering the industry’s “bro culture,” Paul was named 2016’s Diversity Champion by Canada’s Women in Communications & Technology. Paul is active in the Council of Canadian Innovators, and he serves on the board of the Basic Income Canada Network.
