Dr. Karen M. Cross

Dr. Cross is the Co-founder and CEO of MIMOSA Diagnostics Inc. She has spent over a quarter of a century as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and a PhD Scientist - she stepped out of her Academic surgical career to build solutions that are solving healthcare’s biggest crisis - skin injuries and wound care. For this work, she was named top 25 female CEO’s in Atlantic Canada, was named a Women of Influence by the Royal Bank of Canada, and top 50 CEO’s in Atlantic Canada. She was recognized as one of the top 13 entrepreneurs to watch by the Toronto Star and MaRS Ventures.
