Derek Ting

Derek Ting is the Co-Founder and CEO of TextNow Inc., a Waterloo-based ICT firm and the world's first all-ip mobile operator. TextNow offers a service that gives you a free phone number for phone service over wifi. Over 100 million downloads to date, TextNow democratizes telephone service by providing a phone number to a user for free. Derek holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
